The brief
I was approached by Freshly Ground to come on board and design and build their new website.
Freshly Ground already had some great branding created by Meticulous Ink and a firm idea on the direction they wanted their online presence to follow. After discussion, I worked on the design with a key focus on keeping it clean & clear and using their pastel colour palette and large organic-themed imagery. All of this was combined with the aim of conveying the right message to Freshly Ground's artisan clients.
The approach
Once the design was fine-tuned and rubber-stamped, it was converted into HTML & CSS/LESS for integration into the SquareSpace cloud-hosted CMS (Content Management System). Using a CMS means that Freshly Ground are in complete control of their content, and they are regularly posting blog and press release updates.
The result
With their online identity firmly established, Freshly Ground continue to go from strength to strength.
